TRX Sweat - All Levels (50 minutes)

Alicia Rossi

I am currently a Certified Personal Trainer and have recently transitioned from training at 24 Hour Fitness to developing my own private training practice to better meet my clients’ needs in all areas of fitness such as functionality, weight loss, strength training, and bodybuilding. I am finishing up my last semester to complete a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Notre Dame de Namur University. I was a former Pastry Cook at Madera Restaurant and the Rosewood Sandhill Resort and received my culinary degree at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in San Francisco. When I’m not lifting weights or going for long runs, I enjoy traveling and exploring, long boarding, snowboarding, reading, writing, singing, and playing the drums, guitar, piano, and ukulele. My ultimate life passion is to bring people together of all backgrounds so that we all have the opportunity of living a fulfilling life full of laughter, joy, hope, peace, and love. We cannot go through this life alone so I hope that I can be that person to help you in your darkest times and to inspire you in any way I can!

I believe that challenging your body to overcome physical obstacles allows your mind to become stronger and better fit to handle life’s challenges and to give us courage to overcome any fears we may have. I love the TRX because it is such an incredibly versatile tool that can work every single muscle and transform your entire body. Teaching TRX classes are so much fun because we all get let loose and work together as a team to motivate and inspire each other! It doesn’t get any better than that!

When you take that first step to nurture your body and create a better self, you overcome physical challenges, which then allows your mind to overcome the burdens and obstacles of your daily life! A strong body means a strong mind! I am a health and fitness fanatic because I truly believe that exercise is medicine! I believe that all of illnesses, both mental and physical, can be cured through a healthy lifestyle. In 2011, I took matters into my own hands to cure my own Lyme disease through eating healthy and working out diligently, and although the journey was excruciatingly painful, I overcame one of the biggest obstacles of my life and I am Lyme disease free. I am here to tell you that EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE and that all great achievements grow from the smallest of baby steps.

Ali Karver

Ali’s passion for health and fitness started at a young age and through volleyball. Her collegiate volleyball career began at San Joaquin Delta and finished at Cal State San Bernardino where her team won conference titles and was a national finalist during her senior season.

She then continued her education at Sacramento State, where she earned her Masters degree in Kinesiology, specializing in movement studies.

She is currently a Performance Coach at Menlo School and loves to teach her greatest passion of health and fitness to kids of many ages. She looks forward to working with many different levels at Nulife and challenging them to push themselves and improve their health every day.

Ali is CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist), USAW (USA weight lifting), and TRX certified.

Push yourself to new levels using the TRX Suspension Trainer and your own body weight. All TRX classes allow for you to customize your intensity to make it the perfect challenge for you. Classes are 50 minutes. Maximum 13 people per class. Pre-registration highly recommended. Bring a mat, hand towel, and water.
