Sarah Sykes

Sarah is a RYT 200 + RYT 500 in Yang and Yin Yoga. She completed her 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa training with Doron Hanoch and 50-hour Rocket Training at San Francisco's Asta Yoga. In addition, she has completed her 500-hour Yin/Yang training with Sarah Powers and 100-hour Yin Yoga training with Paul and Suzee Grilley. Sarah’s Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow and Rocket classes combine physically challenging poses with a conscious attention to and awareness of the breath, alignment, and the subtle flow of energy in and around us. Her Yin classes are an opportunity to slow down, deeply stretch the joints and connective tissues and open the energetic pathways of the body. When not teaching or practicing yoga, Sarah is likely to be found in the pool, on her bike, or in the kitchen.

Nancy Rushing

Nancy grew up in the south and spent a majority of her life in Louisiana and Texas. She moved to California in April 2007 to explore a new environment and figure out life as an individual away from her roots. Nancy became extremely passionate about health, wellness and fitness after her own parents fell victim to heart disease, kidney disease and diabetes. Her first yoga experience was at a 24-hour fitness gym, shortly after her move to California, with a teacher named Edna Barr who later became the same teacher Nancy took her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification from and continues to draw her inspiration from. Nancy completed the yoga teacher training certification through Frog Lotus at Yoga Belly Studio located in Mt. View. Nancy’s classes focus on a full body workout that includes the foundations of yoga with a tidbit of other fitness styles. The classes are centered on building strength, improving core stability, stretching and improving flexibility. When she is not doing yoga, she is working at an after-school program as the Site Supervisor in Palo Alto and loves to encourage children to be active and expose them to yoga at an early age. Nancy recently completed and received her 20 hour Kids Yoga Certification (K.Y.T) through Stretch.Play.Yoga in May 2014

Patricia Sotomayor

Patricia has been practicing yoga since 2003, plus she is a certified massage therapist that understands and incorporates the alignment of the muscles in the postures. She studied 200 RTY with Paul Dallagan at Centered Yoga in Koh Samui, Thailand. When teaching she hopes for her students to find balance mentally, physically, and spiritually providing them with a practice that they can embody in their daily lives off the mat.

Paige Benjamin

Yoga has been a part of my life on and off since a teenager. However, in 2015, Yoga became my dedicated focus. My practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and resilient, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment with intention and gratitude. I completed my 200 hour Power Yoga training with Corepower Yoga in 2017, and am currently studying advanced Teacher Training at Niroga Institute. I strive to help students connect their mind, body, and soul with yoga, encouraging vulnerability, humility, and zealousness.

Rondy Isaac

Rondy completed his registered yoga teacher certifications with Jillian Gilkbarg of the ParaYoga lineage and Jonathan Rickert power style yoga. His continuing educational studies include: Sutra philosophy with Anirudh Shastri, Tantra Yoga and The Path of Beauty and Bliss with Rod Stryker founder of ParaYoga, and alignment with Ben Thomas. Rondy recently lived in Stuttgart, Germany offering free yoga classes for Syrian, African and Albanian refugees through the Brazil for Refugees / Integration Through Art program.
This 60-minute flow links each posture and transition with the breath, creating a strong flow of movement. Great for beginning and advanced practitioners alike.
